What is partitioning?

Partitioning is the fitting of temporary ‘walls’ in premises in order to separate activities. They are available in a variety of materials including glass, plasterboard and steel and can be made completely bespoke to your company.

Types of partitioning

Office

Office partitioning is a great way to create individual offices without the costs of permanent construction work. The partitions create individual spaces to hold meetings, take phone calls and complete paper work and at Teepee we ensure to abide by Building Regulation requirements to ensure your partitioning is carried out correctly.

As a modular system, Teepee partitioning comes in a variety of heights ranging from 2400mm- 3000mm, which can be multi-tiered to vary height in places where its needed.

Along with your partitioning you can have one or all of the following services:

  • Flooring – carpet tiles, wood and vinyl flooring.
  • Suspended ceilings with optional concealed grid.
  • Electrics – lighting, small power, data cabling.
  • Obtain Building Regulation Approval on client’s behalf.
  • HVAC – heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
  • Decor – painting and vinyl wall coverings.

Workshop

Workshop partitions are a great way to better organise your work space. By having activities in separate sectors, tasks can easily be managed, and resources effortlessly allocated. Partitioning is very effective in workshops as applications such as clean and inspection rooms can be kept separate from manufacturing processes keeping each sector of the business in the conditions needed for its purpose.

Various steel, mesh and glass panel configurations can be constructed into endless formats in order to create workshop set up that can be easily managed and controlled as well as helpful in communication.

All workshop partitions can be fitted with a variety of accessories including sliding and roller shutter doors.

Benefits of partitioning

Privacy

Open workspaces are becoming ever more popular however they offer little to no privacy. Complete privacy in work places can make employees feel isolated but too little privacy can lead to problems in the workplace. This makes partitioning the ideal way to provide privacy in places where its needed without fully isolating employees from each other.

Affordable

Installing partitioning systems can be a more cost-effective alternative compared to installing drywalls or plaster. Not only can they be removed but by choosing reliable companies such as Teepee, you can ensure your partitioning system is high quality and made to last.
