Pallet Racking Repairs & Maintenance
Established in 1987, Teepee provides comprehensive nationwide repair and relocation services.
We recognise that managing products from multiple manufacturers or inherited storage equipment systems can be both time-consuming and costly, particularly when sourcing replacement components directly from manufacturers or various suppliers.
Many of our clients opt to consolidate their projects into a single contract to optimise efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This approach allows them to achieve savings not only on replacement parts but also on labour and equipment hire. Additionally, working with a single provider streamlines communication, reduces administrative overhead, and accelerates project timelines.
As a designated SEMA Advanced Supplier, we ensure that all materials supplied, installed, and inspected meet the latest industry standards. Clients can thus be confident that their storage systems are compliant with current health and safety legislation and SEMA guidelines.

Pallet Racking Repairs & Maintenance FAQ’s
1. Do Teepee offer a pallet racking repair service?
Yes. Teepee are one of a handful of companies who have been awarded SEMA Approved Member – ‘Advanced’ status. These provides ‘End Users’ with the peace of mind that these companies have been independently assessed and have demonstrated their committed to meeting SEMA highest standards.
Not only does this save ‘end user’ time and money by having one supplier, but manufacturers also tend to support these suppliers with higher discounts, enabling them to concentrate on larger projects, knowing servicing of their existing sites will be carried out by an industry approved supplier, thus maintaining warranties.
Furthermore, Teepee are ISO9001, SafeContractor accredited, providing the ‘End User’ assurances contracts are fully traceable, and suitable health and safety procedures are in place in the event of an incident.
2. Can I carry out my own pallet racking repairs?
Yes, subject to the business carrying out suitable method and risk assessment and ensuring staff carrying out these repairs are competent and have been adequately trained (see ‘Rack Maintenance’ course info). Furthermore, the business must also ensure they have suitable insurance cover in place.
3. Do Teepee offer a ‘Rack Maintenance’ training course?
No. Due to the introduction of the ‘Building Regulations Safety Act 2022’. This outlines the responsibilities and duties of ‘End Users’ to ensure suitable procedures are in place. For these reasons, SEMA’s ‘Rack Maintenance Course’ is no longer available.
This has now been replaced with a Storage Equipment Installers Registration Scheme known as ‘SEIRS’. This course is designed for people working solely within the industry, however ‘End Users’ are able to attend.
The course is now in two phases, SEIRS Foundation – Part 1 which is an introductory 1 x day course followed by a SEIRS Diploma – Part 2, being 2 x day course. This diploma course must be done within 6 months of attending the Foundation course. Prior to attending all delegates must be in possession of an up-to-date MEWPS 3A & 3B qualification.
