WHAT THE CLIENT SAID
“It has been a pleasure to work with Teepee on this refurbishment project which called for comprehensive management of complex and time-sensitive logistics. We have remained operational throughout saving us time and money, whilst also investing in new and efficient spaces that will enable the company to successfully progress.”
– Managing Director
CHALLENGES
During the fit-out, Teepee’s scope of works included carrying out minor building works such as fitting new external fire doors and windows, refurbishment of toilets and a new disabled access ramp.
Teepee would need to co-ordinate all works with Bryland’s electrical and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) appointed contractors.
It was also vital that Bryland remained fully operational throughout the refurbishment process.
HOW WE SUCCEEDED
Teepee arranged an onsite meeting with Bryland’s mechanical and electrical contractors (M&E), to establish the scope of works together with approximate time frames. Teepee then produced an installation schedule indicating M&E works, which would be split into 4 separate phases over 12 weeks. This would allow Bryland staff to be re-located into different areas during the fit-out.
During the fit-out, Teepee dry-lined all external walls including installing new office partitions and suspended ceilings. As the project progressed, we were also asked to install a new kitchen facility within the break-out room. On completion of all works, Teepee decorated throughout and installed new floor coverings.
In the final phase, new office furniture was installed throughout all phases, enabling Bryland’s office staff to relocate back to their divisions.
